Sunrise over mountains

Together

Two futures. One choice.

Two Futures

Without Genesis

  • AI controlled by 4 companies
  • Truth decided by algorithms optimizing for engagement
  • 97% of websites deploying dark patterns unchecked
  • Firefox market share continues declining to irrelevance
  • Mozilla becomes a voice in the wilderness, principled but powerless
  • The open internet becomes a memory

With Genesis

  • Constitutional AI governed by principles, not profit
  • Truth verified by architecture, not moderation teams
  • Dark patterns illuminated, manipulation made visible
  • Firefox becomes the ONLY browser that protects you — 200M to 600M users
  • Mozilla becomes the infrastructure of the free internet
  • The open mind joins the open web

A Personal Note

I keep coming back to that number. Twenty-four thousand children, every single day, who never had to die. That was the moment I stopped building products and started building infrastructure for truth.

There was a whiteboard in my apartment. One side said "what exists." The other side said "what should exist." The gap between them wasn't a market opportunity. It was a moral emergency.

You've spent 28 years proving technology should serve people. I've spent 15 years building the technology that does. We found each other.

This letter isn't about a deadline or a grant application. It's about what happens when two movements that share the same DNA finally find each other.

Mozilla proved that openness wins. Genesis proves that truth scales. Together, we don't compete with the attention economy. We replace it.
